Mobile Communication

Brief:

 

The brief was to design a new innovative communication device, we were given one of 4 focus topics; Gen Z, The disconnected Elderly, Explorer and the one I was given, Environmentally friendly. This meant that I designed this device with its environmental impact in mind. Their project has been broken into 2 parts; Designing for the present-day as well as for what might be 20 years in the future.

Description:

The Projection device is small and portable and is controlled by motion sensors underneath the top display, meaning there isnt any need for buttons or a control panel. The device turns on when it is connected to one of the adaption pieces and charges when placed on the docking station.

 

The front projector projects the display onto any flat surface meaning the device can be used pretty much anywhere.

 

All materials are 100% recyclable and the device is intended for the user to minimize the number of electronic devices owned meaning it is helping the environment by reducing the amount of electronic waste in the world.
